I Need Your Votes!!!

Exciting news!!!   I just learned I am one of 8 finalists in an art competition BUT I NEED YOUR HELP.  Here’s the scoop:  Jackson Hole Still Works invites artists each year to submit works with the theme Spirit of Wyoming, to be chosen as the label for their (very artistic) vodka bottle.  A qualified committee chose the eight finalists but now the finalist is chosen by popular vote.  This is where YOU come in.  I’ve been a finalist twice before, but this year I’d love to have my painting be the chosen image, so I need YOUR VOTE.

👍  The link to vote can be found on their Instagram and Facebook pages (JHStillWorks), where you can also preview the paintings. VOTE between January 17-19,

Share with friends and family!!!

You can also view the paintings and vote in person January 17-19, at 3940 S Eagle View Dr, Jackson, WY.  The finalist will be announced at 7:00pm on January 19th at the Voting Party at JH Still Works – and you are invited to attend, in person or social media.  You’ll learn all about it by following the link.

My watercolor painting, above, is titled Song Of Wyoming.  The western meadowlark is the state bird of Wyoming.  The western meadowlark’s flute-like call is an introductory declaration of spring in Wyoming, of which we can only dream of at the moment. What better way to celebrate the Spirit of Wyoming than with a Meadowlark Martini, made with Jackson Hole Still Works vodka!  Bears, moose, eagles, and elk tend to dominate the art world here in Wyoming, but help me put a fresh face on the Spirit of Wyoming!

The winning original artwork will be reproduced on Jackson Hole Still Works Vodka bottle label for one year. (The artist is nicely compensated as well 😉.)

The winning artwork will be silent-auctioned off starting after the announcement on January 19, 2023 for 2 weeks, to benefit the Wyoming Arts Council. The other 7 works will be available for sale. And please note, the $5 fee per vote is also a donation to the Wyoming Arts Council. In fact, 100% of the proceeds from the contest, voting party, and raffle of the original artwork benefit the Wyoming Arts Council

I need numbers – and you, all my friends, can help.  Thank you in advance!!!!! ❤️❤️
