I need your help! Or at least some good warm vibes sent this way. This Saturday, September 19, is the annual Quick Draw that keystones the Fall Arts Festival here in Jackson Hole. And the weather report is not looking warm. If you are in Jackson, come by with a cup of joe for me to dip my fingers in, and if you are lucky enough to be home anywhere on earth in your bathrobe, tune in to the live stream either on the JH Chamber of Commerce webpage, or if you have Facebook, @KayStratmanStudio. Definitely register to bid if the piece strikes your fancy. I've included the schedule and necessary links below.

Quick Draw Time Schedule, (Mountain Time):
|
- 8 – 9:30 am: Creating art, live on the Town Square. I will also post a live stream of my progress to my Facebook page: Kay Stratman Studio. Tune in for the action there, or on the JH Chamber Quick Draw web page.
- 9:30 – 10:30 am: Completed works on display on the Town Square and images will post as soon as possible online @ BidSquare.
- 10:30am - 12pm: Live auction begins in-person, and online on BidSquare. The in-person live auction will be at the Cowboy Bar directly across the street. My painting will be #28 in order of presentation. (Tickets are required and available through the JH Chamber of Commerce. Let me know if you'd like one.)
- 12pm-ish - I will be at Horizon Fine Art, 30 King Street, to meet and greet (with masks and social distancing).
- SUNDAY 11am - 4pm - I will be painting at Horizon, along with the other artists Horizon represented at the Quick Draw.

Though I have the dimensions and the title, I, of course, can't show you the piece right now, since I will be creating it on sight. (Visit my Facebook page, KayStratmanStudio, to view my trial run at live streaming the painting I created to practice for this event.) It will be titled: Rising To The Occasion, 12" x 16" image size, 18" x 22" framed, and the subject will be an erupting Yellowstone geyser. Here are some examples:
