A River Runs Through It
Hello Art Lovers,

I am VERY excited to share: After 11 days off-grid I read an email sent 10 days previously, from the Wyoming Watercolor Society that tells me my painting - The River Runs Through It - won the Best Wyoming Artist award in this years 33rd national exhibit!!! So honored and happy. It was inspired by the view from the top of East Gros Ventre Butte in Jackson Hole, while having cocktails and dinner at the Granary Lounge, as a storm blew over the Tetons. And it is still available! at Horizon Fine Art in Jackson Hole.

Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival week is upon us, September 5th - 16th. Every year I participate in the Quick Draw: nationally recognized artists are invited to create an artwork in 90 minutes, then the finished works are auctioned off in a raucous and fun auction under a nearby tent. PLEASE come heckle me, cheer me on, or bring me a mocha latte. (Usually it is a bit colder than I prefer to begin painting, but we are INTREPID.) Saturday, September 15th, 9am sharp, on the Town Square.
I'd like to shout out Raitman Art Galleries in Breckenridge, Colorado,100 N. Main Street, who are now representing my paintings. We have gotten off to an enthusiastic start and I am looking forward to a great relationship. Do check them out if you are in the area skiing, hiking and vacationing.
